(Seychelles News Agency) - The Seychelles police is investigating an incident where a 39 year old woman Milna Joseph, died after she fell into a marsh at Port Glaud, western district on the main island of Mahé.

The police was informed about the incident yesterday evening just after 6pm local time.

“Retrieved from where she had fallen and transported by ambulance for medical assistance, Joseph was certified dead by doctor at the Anse Boileau Health Centre,” says the police statement.

An autopsy is being carried out to determine the cause of death while the police pursues its investigation to determine exactly how Milna Joseph died.
