Pakistan taking steps to enhance existing ties with Seychelles

(Seychelles News Agency) - Pakistan seeks to find ways that existing cooperation with the Seychelles could be enhanced in various fields, announcement made by the new High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Seychelles, Major General (Retired) Ulfat Hussain in a press interview this morning.
He has mentioned diplomacy, banking, pharmacy, education and trade.
"I am sure that, in the coming months and years, the existing ties will further be enhanced,” said Hussain.
“Hopefully a Pakistani delegation will come and study what are the tactical steps which we can take so that we can give a kick-start to what already exists.”
Ulfat Hussain was speaking after he had presented his credentials to Seychelles President James Michel.
Hussain, the twelfth high commissioner of Pakistan to the Indian Ocean archipelago will be based in Mauritius.
Seychelles and Pakistan established diplomatic relations in June 1976.
