49 year old Seychellois man found dead, says Seychelles police
(Seychelles News Agency) - The Seychelles police is investigating the death of a 49 year old man, Jossy Estico, who was found in a store at his mother’s residence at ‘Kan Frichot’ La Louise on the outskirts of the capital of Victoria.
According to a police statement issued this afternoon, they were informed about the incident early this morning at around 6.40am local time.
“According to one of his brothers, the last time Jossy was seen alive was around 30 minutes past midnight and Jossy had said he was going to work,” reads the statement.
According to the police when the brother found Jossy, there were scratches on his forehead, and on his left arm and leg.
The deceased worked as a security guard at the Community Centre in the Mont Fleuri district.
“Assisted by the paramedics the police brought Estico’s body to the Casualty at the Seychelles hospital where he was certified dead at 8.16am.”
An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death while the police has opened an investigation into the incident.
