(Seychelles News Agency) - Seychelles Police have reported that Norbert Jules, a 44 year old resident of Grand Anse, a western district of the main island of Mahe was certified dead after he was found motionless among some banana trees in the vicinity of the former BBC Indian Ocean Relay Station, this morning.

According to the Police statement Jules was last seen at his mother’s place in the same district at around 7pm local time Monday 05 May.

It was following a search that Jules, who suffered from epileptic seizures in the past, was discovered by his sister at around 10.30 this morning. He was certified dead by a doctor on site about an hour later.

The Police is awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death.
